Joining us as a Technician/Kitchen Porter in the Food & Hospitality department, you will support the Food Department in providing high quality educational facilities and resources for all the learners across all the levels of qualifications. You will maintain workshops in clean and safe order (waste removal etc)

You will liaise with tutors in order to prepare materials and equipment for staff and student use for both daytime and evening provision.

You will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our learners. Tameside College has an excellent reputation and this is a real opportunity for you to make a difference in people’s lives.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2 and a relevant trade qualification in Food Studies at least to Level 2. You will be experienced and be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
