Joining us as a Teacher in Mechanical Engineering, you will teach on Mechanical Engineering related programs; the main focus of the role will be the planning, delivery and assessment of practical skills in the areas of fitting, milling and turning at level 2 and level 3.

You will be able to plan and deliver active, creative and engaging lessons and will contribute to the classroom experience of our talented and enthusiastic learners, within a hardworking team with high standards. We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual, with a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or above coupled with a recognised teaching qualification or a commitment to gaining this if successful. Specialist knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles is essential and you must have an understanding of and commitment to the principles of individual learning.

You will be experienced in providing for the needs of learners with a focus on delivering outstanding learning experiences and be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

You will plan and deliver study programmes using a wide range of strategies to meet individual learner needs and act as a subject or personal tutor.
