We are now looking to appoint a Management Accountant to ensure that all assets and liabilities of the College are accounted for on an accurate and timely basis and all statutory and monthly reporting is carried out to deadlines set.

Providing timely and accurate information for the senior leadership team as and when requested, you will work with the Executive Director of Finance & Estates to maintain, develop and improve financial accounting and financial management systems and information and will assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasting and internal budget management.

With an understanding of general key financial regulations and procedures and knowledge of financial accounting and budgeting principles, you should have a detailed knowledge and understanding of a variety of computerized management information systems and experience of forecasting, budget monitoring and reporting.

AAT qualified and working towards a professional accountancy qualification, experience in the further education sector and of the production of period and year end management accounts is essential and you must be capable of working flexibly with frequent change.
