Joining us as an English and Math’s Intervention support with English intervention focus, you will be responsible for providing dedicated intervention support to raise student attainment in English, supporting students to bridge the gap in learning due to the pandemic. The successful candidates must be able to motivate students to succeed and provide a well-structured and tailored learning environment.
This post is a 0.2 FTE (7.2 hours per week) however, this post can also be offered up to 0.5 FTE (18 hours per week).

Here’s the standard bit: Working collaboratively with the English and Maths department, the post holders will devise schemes of work and identify groups of students who require additional support. You will provide targeted intervention sessions and also work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups in order to help raise attainment and understanding within English.
What you’ll need: - We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and a highly motivated individual, with a relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience coupled with a thorough knowledge intervention as detailed in the specification. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
