In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that inspire, challenge and support learners to achieve their full potential. Using a variety of innovative teaching approaches and learning strategies, you will create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students.

You will play a key role in shaping and developing the curriculum, monitoring learner progress, and providing meaningful feedback and assessment to help learners succeed both in college and during work-based learning opportunities. Working closely with colleagues and industry partners, you will support learners to achieve ambitious goals and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for future success.

Here’s the standard bit: You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets. You will be experienced and be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

What you’ll need: - Relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector is essential to the role.

Enthusiasm, resilience and highly motivated with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, you must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).

Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment, relevant assessment qualifications – IQA/A1/V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
